Enrollment Costs

Please see the Office of the Registrar for current tuition and fees for graduate students at KUMC.

KUMC students are required to have a background check at their own expense. KUMC has a contract with a company to do background checks at a low cost to students. Information about the background check is sent to students in the admission acceptance package.

Tuition and Fees are established by the Kansas Board of Regents, independently of the KU Department of Dietetics and Nutrition, and are subject to change.


Graduate Assistantships


Occasionally, Graduate Teaching Assistantships, Research Assistantships and Graduate Assistantships are available through the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition for full-time MS students. The time commitments and wages vary semester by semester. Please contact our department to apply for an assistantship.



Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid is located at 4003 Student Services. To request an application packet, call Student Financial Aid at 913-588-5170 or visit their website. Students should submit financial aid application by the end of March for Fall admission. The Office of Financial Aid administers the following student aid programs:
