Admission Requirements
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited didactic program in dietetics (DPD) sponsored by a regionally accredited university or college is required for admission. To view accredited programs see www.eatright.org.
A cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for college course work is required for admission.
The Graduate Record Examination is required. Recommended scores for the sections of the GRE are 500 and above for Verbal and Quantitative, and 3.5 and above for Analytical Writing. Applicants with scores in these ranges are awarded points according to rating guidelines for the program. For GRE information, call (609) 771-7670 or visit www.gre.org.
For non-native speakers of English, completion of the Test of English as a Foreign Language examination is required no more than two years before the semester of admission. Minimum scores for admission are: Paper-based exam–all part scores at least 57; or Computer-based exam–all part scores at least 23 and Essay at least 4.0.

The Selection Process
The following criteria are considered when selecting individuals for admission to the dietetic internship program: Academic performance, Graduate Record Examination scores, letter of application, references, leadership, work and volunteer experiences, and Kansas residence.
